Grab the kids and GO! #dragonslive

Last night we went to the opening night of How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular. And All I have to say is AMAZING! I honestly had zero expectations, We have never been ones to go to these live events because of finances, so I had nothing to compare it to other than the Elmo Live we attended last year. Being that my kids loved the original movie, I jumped at the chance to check out this show. I was simple blown away. And like most things I experience with my kids, as soon as I look at the joy and anticipation on their faces in the opening scenes, I cry. It is such a honor to parent and truly a joy to see them so happy.

From the very moment the show started, you were in shock over the amazing sounds, lights, fire and of course the life like dragons. They really look so true to live. Owen leaned over to tell me, "I can't believe they aren't real". You are on the edge of your seat tho whole time! And even if you are not versed on the storyline, you too will love the show. I brought my cousin along as reinforcements since Scott is out of town. She had not seen the movie before and was also blown away with the show.
I wish I could fully describe everything to you. You felt as though you were on the Island of Berk. The actors were spot on and completely captivating. There was always something new going on to grab the kids attention. There was spectacular tumbling, fire breathing dragons, flying and the amazing story line of true friendship. I think that is what I have always love about this whole tale of How To Train Your Dragon, is the heart of this story. Learning to accept a new way of thinking, the grace and courage that Hiccup showed and the true relationships that came out of such character. If you have the chance please take your kids! It will be a memory to talk about for years!
