#FlatOut Awesome!

I threw a fantastic little pizza party this week using a new and might I add awesome pizza crust, Flatout. I honestly had never heard of Flatout bread before, I sit here wondering why no one has told me about this yummy goodness. We tried three of their new Thin Crust Artisan Pizza Crusts. We sampled the Spicy Italian,  Rustic White and Heritage Wheat. I am a bread lover and have a hard time saying no to the carbs. Flatout thin crust pizza are extremely flavorful and and so easy to use. I have already purchased more Flatout products for our family. I do want to mention, that these are NOT gluten free- since I do review gluten free products, I just want to be clear that these are not.
For our little pizza party I chose to make two seperate pizza's. One for the kids and one for the moms. Being so close to Halloween, I wanted to have a halloween/fall theme for our gathering. Since kids seem to love pepperoni, I cut the pepperoni's into shapes to allow the kids to make their own Jack O'Pizza faces. Lets remember not that they are two, so it was more of a free for all pile of pepperoni! They still enjoyed putting all the toppings on. As for the mom pizza, well I am not going to lie, it was awesome. I made a delectable sweet potato pizza. I am going to just write it out for you because you need to go make this pizza now.
Spicy Sweet Potato Pizza
1 package of Spicy Italian Flatout Artisan Pizza Crust
1-2 sweet potato
1-2 balls fresh mozzarella balls
1 medium purple onion
1 jar alfredo sauce
I started by softening the potato by cooking it till tender in the microwave. You could also use the over to accomplish this as well. Once it was softened, I peeled the skin off and chopped into small cubes. Then you will place a thin layer of the alfredo sauce over your spicy Italian crust. top with the sweet potato, diced onion and small chunks of fresh mozzarella. salt and pepper to taste and bake at 400 for 12-18 mins. The sweet flavors mixed with the spices of the crust is simple amazing!
Being that this crust is a thin crust, it is so nice and light. You can really taste the different flavors of your toppings with out feeling like you are only consuming bread.  Like I said before, I just bought more Flatout breads and am very excited to try them out! Please note that the Spicy Italian is not for the weak- it packs a flavorful punch for sure. I used the left over rustic white for a wrap in Elliott's lunch and she said it was the best lunch EVER! That is pretty good. Flatout bread is free from high fructose corn syrup, making me a happy mama! Did you even realize that that stuff is in most breads? Crazy. Even though Owen cannot enjoy these products, Rai fully can since they are dairy free!
Flatout bread is available at Walmart and several local grocers. Hurry over and grab some! You an even make my yummy pizza creation in time for Halloween! Follow Flatout on Facebook and Twitter too to stay on top of the latest products and savings!

I participated in the campaign as part of a blogger relation. I only endorse products that I support. Even though I am compensated with a gc to cover my expences and  for my participation, All opinions are 100% my own.
