full days.

Here we are, back to school. September is already whirling by and before you know it we will prepping for the holidays! We spent the month of August doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I have yet to share our pictures from out trip to Washington Island due to this computer giving me a ton of issues. As summer ended we headed off to Lake Geneva for a little getaway before the rush of school. I can not believe that summer is almost over! It went by way to fast as usual. Over all it was a great summer. Spending a lot of time chilling and playing with friends. We were blessed to have a second car for a couple months, making it possible to visit the zoo and local parks a little easier.

We have now successfully completed one week of school. Crazy! Elliott is a big time third grader, the top of the pile in lower elementary. She has a amazing new teacher. After just four days I have had more communication from Ms. Jenny that I have in the past two years with the old teacher. I know the new expectation is overwhelming for Elliott, but I know she will do great after the adjustment. She needs a strong personality challenging her, otherwise she will dinker the day away. The dynamic in her class seems really great as well. A really great bunch of kids.

Owen is officially a full dayer. No more lunch dates, no more running back and forth from school. A whole 6 hours of school for the middle man. He is loving it! He has 10 k5's in his class and his teacher is seriously amazing. So far he has meet a new friend in his class and has declared him his new best friend. Lunch time is pretty exciting and he has yet to not finish his lunch, so that is a good sign. We are preparing for his friend birthday party next week. We postponed having it until school started, that way he would be able to invite some new faces.

Of course we ended out first day of school with the traditional  celebratory ice cream dish.

My days so far have been entertaining a crazed toddler and whipping this house back into share from the summer. So far so good! I plan to start sewing again, getting out for nice walks with Rai as well as paint the kids bedrooms. It is a nice change of pace, but I sure do miss my munchkins! I hope you are having a great start to Fall as well!

Oh ya, Scott just accepted a new job!!!!!!!This is a huge answer to prayer. We are very excited to see where God leads through this opportunity. Not only will this job help us a ton financially, I believe it will open doors that we could not have imagined!
