For this event, Accessorize your Stash, they sent me a Diaper Pail liner along with some of their Fab Wipes. I have now learned my lesson that not all pail liners are created equally. My previous pail liners have all been nice, bright and functional. I will say, a white pail liners seemed a little blah to me at first. Lucky for me I had just loaned out my spare liner and needed a replacement as soon as the package arrived. I opened it up and began using it right away. The fit in my diaper pail is perfect! Once I got over the white coloring, I fell in love with this liner! This liner is made from a waterproof PUL and lined with nylon. The top has a enclosed drawstring opening, allowing you to simply cinch up the top for easy transportation. Because of the added lining, this liner feels ultra durable. My other liners are a single layer of PUL, like I said they have always worked fine, but the Thirsties liner is like the Cadillac of pail liners. I love having the drawstring closure. No longer having to grab the top and hold it closed while dragging the bag down to the laundry. I also was able to throw it in our suitcase for our trip this weekend, turning this liner into a easy travel wet bag.
Along with my new favorite pail liner, Thirsties also sent me a pack of their Fab Wipes. I am a firm believer in the fact that you can never have enough wipes. If I am not using them to wipe butts, I am using them to clean dirty hands, faces and clean up a quick spill. Carrying them in my purse has saved me a few times. Like this past weekend when I was unprepared for that time of month...let it be known that a tri folded Fab Wipe makes a great menstrual cloth. :) The Fab Wipes are pretty darn fab, I am guessing that is why they named them that. The bright colors are super fun and these are really soft and plush. They are made from two layers, one side velour and the other microfleece. The size is perfect, not too big and not to small. They are thick though, so it can be a little harder in all those little creases. The one draw back for me is the two layers seem to "slip" apart when wiping. Basically when the wipe is wet and you are cleaning up a mess, the two layers do not always move together. It isn't a big issue, just something to be aware of. Thirsties told me that with time they should fuse together and the issue should no longer be there- see great customer service.

The fab wipes sound awesome - I've been wanting to try out reusable wipes to save money !!! Did they wash ok? Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteThey wash up really well. I haven't had any staining yet, and my bot is a messy pooper!
DeleteI like how those wipes sound too. I use a couple layers of flannel sewn together but it's pretty thin so I've been thinking about trying something with a little more softness and thickness.
ReplyDeleteWe have their wipes - they're super soft!! I haven't tried their liner yet though and would like to, thanks!
ReplyDeleteI am in desperate need of a pail liner right now...and I think I have found my replacement! I have been a Thirsties fan for years, and they have yet to disappoint! I am sure that I will love this pail liner as much as I do my Thirsties Duo covers and hemp inserts that are still going strong after 4 years of use :-)
ReplyDeleteSeriously LOVE Thirsties! But, would you believe, I've yet to try their Pail Liner or wipes! 2 things on my list now!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Thirsties and would love to win this because I've been wanting to get another pail liner, since I only have one.
