In a few short weeks the kids will stroll off to school. Owen will experience his first lunch at school and I will miss my two biggies. I like to add a few extra touches to their lunches when I remember and around the house to help keep the back to school transitions a little more fun and creative. Over the past couple years these have been my very favorite printables to use through out the school year. A fun creative note to the teacher or a simple to follow check list for getting ready. The nice thing is that you can print off only what you need and limit the amount of waste. I like to have a stash of lunch notes cut up and ready to stuff in the lunch box. These first two are my favorite simple to use printables for the lunch box. Elliott often had tough days adjusting to elementary school. Having something simple to check off how she felt helped me see what was going on and it helped spark some conversation after school.
I love this morning check list! For our kids I printed one for each and had them laminated. I was able to put them out every morning next to their breakfast. We managed to use them all year! The kids enjoyed checking things off and it was a great tool to start Owen learning to read. Rebecca also has a bedtime check list that I recommend along with a homework checklist. You really should check out her whole line as it is my favorite!
I hope you enjoyed these! If you have a favorite back to school printable, please leave me a link in the comments- I would love to see it! :)
