We have a divided house when it comes to cheese. One who does not like cheese at all, three who like it and one who is allergic! So, as you can imagine, making burgers here consists of several variations. Last night we created our own special recipe. I have no idea what to call it...hmmmm.
GF Swiss Garlic burgers over Polenta.
1 lbs ground pork
1 lbs ground turkey
half cup GF bread crumbs
1 egg
5 cloves crushed garlic
half a onion diced
Sargento Swiss Cheese
1-2 c. cooked polenta
Mix meat, garlic, onions, egg and bead crumbs. Shape into patties and grill till done. Top with Swiss cheese.
Place a bun sized portion of polenta on each plate and top with one patty.
Being a gluten free house these are bun free. You could always just put them on a roll or bun!
