Green Kid Crafts {Review & Giveaway}

Do you love crafting with the kids? I do. Sadly, I do not sit down and craft enough with them. Partly due to never feeling like the house is clean enough to mess up again! But mostly because I never have all the supplies that I need. I have plenty of paper and crayons, but I don't always have all the extra's. I have a zillions cute idea pinned on Pinterest, yet I still never manage to pick up what I need. After working with Green Kids Crafts, I have found a fun and new easy to craft with your kids.

What is Green Kids Crafts?

Founded in 2010, Green Kid Crafts is the original earth-friendly, craft  subscription company. We are a mom-owned, green company that offers natural, sustainable, and responsible choices for craft projects. We believe that the green movement helps people make better decisions in their daily lives for a healthier environment. Our green craft kits are an inexpensive tool for parents and teachers to use to educate children about recycling, reducing waste, and protecting the environment.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT:

  • We use recycled content wherever we can.
  • We work to make sure all craft supplies can be recycled.
  • We avoid craft foams and plastics.
  • We minimize packaging and printing, and we print double-sided.
  • We use recycled labels and paper envelopes for shipping.
  • We use plant-based sustainable and compostable clear packaging.
  • We offset 100% of the carbon dioxide generated by our business and help fund the development of renewable energy projects across the United States.
  • We integrate eco-awareness into our craft themes wherever possible

 The kids and I dug into our box this week. Our box contained three full projects, instructions and a list of fun, simple crafts to do in addition to the packaged ones. The kids picked their projects, Owen a pirate hat and coins, while Elliott started working on a summer memory scrapbook. We saved the wind chime for a later date. Owen did a great job and was able to accomplish most of the project by himself. Elliott was very busy working on her book. I love the recycled materials and simple instructions. Once I was able to start them off, they went to town and thankfully stopped fighting with each other! Now I can not guarantee that Green Kids Crafts will stop you children, but it is worth a shot don't you think?
Green Kid Crafts is a great monthly subscription that your kids will love to receive. Not only do kids love receiving packages in the mail, they love creating! Weather you are looking for a little inspiration to your crafting world or looking for something new to give as a gift, Green Kid Crafts is a perfect match! I would have loved to have this resource when I was homeschooling Elliott- a great way to have an Art class without all the planning.

Visit Green Kid Crafts on Facebook and  be sure to sign up for their weekly craft tips sent right to you inbox too. (found on the bottom of their home page) Monthly boxes are available for 19.95 and gift subscriptions are available for 3, 6 and 12 months.
