Before you know it school will be back in session. That is why I am teaming up with Mommy's Favorite Things to bring you A Very Green Back to School. As you prepare for this next school year take the time reduce waste and buy environmentally friendly supplies! There are two options that you can participate in, the giveaway hop- host your own giveaway on your blog with the required details and participating in the Grand Prize. You have the option to to participate in whichever you would like or both.

The event will begin at 12:01 AM EST August 22nd, 2012 and end at 11:59 PM EST on August 30th, 2012.What You Must Do As A Participant (Mandatory):
What You Need to Do Now:
- Grab the button and post it in a prominent place on your blog (preferably in your sidebar).
- Sign up with your Blog Name on the linky with an accurate email address that you check often.
- Secure sponsors that fit the theme of the event (Must be Green / Natural / Eco-friendly / Sustainable and be a good fit for back to school).
- Join the Facebook group for all updates.
What You Need to Do Later:
- Host a giveaway posted on your blog that totals at least $20 for one winner. You may offer multiple prize packages as long as each package is valued at $20 or more. If you have multiple prizes, there must be one main post for this giveaway. The giveaway must run for the duration of this event.
- Include A Very Green Back to School button in your giveaway post to identify the giveaway as being a part of this hop.
- Include a few sentences about the event and the hosts in your main post (the post must contain links to the hosts sites).
- Include the linky that we will provide later within your giveaway post so your readers can easily hop to the other giveaways.
- Choose your winner within 48 hours of the event closing and announce the winner on your blog (on the Rafflecopter form is fine).

- You can sign up to be a part of this Grand Prize by paying a 1$ admin feeper link. courtney_fisk@hotmail.com. This fee will also give you a entry on the Grand Prize Rafflecopter form for a Facebook like, Twitter follow or both.
- You must fill out the sign up form and pay the 1$ per link to participate.
- You will automatically be entered for a Blogger Prize by participating in the Grand Prize.
What We Would Like You To Do As A Participant (Optional):

- Keep the giveaway entries simple and use Rafflecopter if possible. Ideally, no more than 1 mandatory entry. It is preferable that you turn of CAPTCHA during the event. Abide by all Facebook guidelines and no extra entries for purchases or Google+.
- Include a daily Tweet entry option using the event hashtag #GreenSchool.
- Publicize your giveaway. (We will publicize the event, but it is your responsibility to publicize your own individual giveaway.)
