LEGO KidsFest 2012 #Milwaukee

We had a great time Friday evening at LEGO KidsFest! One thing I was looking forward to was giving Owen some inspiration for LEGO building. And inspiration he found! Owen has enjoyed his LEGO's but seems to get frustrated easily when building. He was all ears listening during the Master Builders Academy. During the free build time, Owen marched wight up to one of the Master Builders and asked for help. Lucky for him he was able to get a nice 10 min lesson on building a spaceship!

While the kids participated in the Master Builders Academy. Rai and I walked around the sculptures. It is truly amazing how large these LEGO structures really are! I was blown away by the detail and intricate designs. Each and every sculpture was exactly perfect!

LEGO has some so far even since I was a kid! There are thousands of shapes and colors now. You could spend countless house pouring over the options. Like all the bricks in this pile! I was glad to see a whole section gears towards girls as well. Every child likes to build, why not have fun colors and themes for everyone!

We walked though the vendor booths for a while and made a few cool crafts thanks top Discovery World and of course, had our faces painted!
If you are in a area that LEGO KidsFest is coming to, I think you would have a great time with your little builders and should check it out!
