Fitteds.

Fitted diapers have become my favorite diaper for bedtime. This is the only diaper system that has worked all night with out a single leak. The reason behind this is the fact that the entire diapers is capable of absorbing. There is no wasted space, 100% thirsty material, usually name from those great natural fibers. If you needed to you can add a layer of extra absorbency to the diaper by simple adding a natural fiber insert. I do like to add a stay dry liner to my fitteds for overnight to help pull moisture off of babies skin.
Fitted are super simple. They are as easy as placing on a disposable. Fitted are available in aplix or snap closures. You can find them also in a one size option or a sized diaper. Fitted diapers are not waterproof. In order for a fitted to do it's job you will need to have a cover to place over the diaper. Covers are typically made of PUL, TPU, fleece or wool. If you are battling a rash, fitteds become a great option to use with out a cover in order to allow the diaper to breath more. You will just have to keep a closer eye on your little one. :)

Fitted diapers do have a long lost cousin, Contour. Not as popular and well known, these are similar to fitted other than the fact that they do not have closures. You would have to use pins or a snappi if you are going coverless. With a cover over the top things tend to stay in place pretty well! I no longer have contours here, otherwise I would photograph them for you too! These were my favorite diaper for newborn diapering.
