AMP #ClothDiapers Review and Giveaway! #realdiapers

Real Diaper week continues and I have another great diaper to share with you! I received a AMP diaper to review. AMP Cloth Diapers were created by Annie Marie Padorie. Like so many great cloth diapers, these were created by a mom to fit a need. As a mother of 5, Annie need a good solution to hand me down that were falling apart and poor quality department store diapers. When she was finished, AMP Diapers was born. 

The AMP that I reviewed is a pocket diaper that can be used as a AI2 as well. Because their inserts are made from natural fibers, they can be laid on top of the stay dry liner to create a AI2 system. I use this diaper as a pocket. I guess I am just a pocket girl. I think if my child was one that pooped a nice solid patty, I would use AI2 systems more. No matter what my kid has poop that fills the diaper, so everything has to be washed. 


This diaper has a easy to adjust snap down rise and snaps at the waist. What I really like about these diapers is the soft leg  and waist openings. The super soft micro fleece is always touching your babies skin. The inner lining, like I said is micro fleece, and it is so soft! The opening for the pocket is placed towards the front of the diaper, creating a mess free experience for laundering. The outer layer is a waterproof PUL, which they offer in a wonderful variety of colors! We have purple and it is one of my favorite's for my son! 

The Insert.  I feel the need to draw special attention to this insert. I am for sure a natural fiber junkie. So this diaper automatically goes to the top of the list because if this feature. Not only is it made from natural fibers such as Hemp, Cotton and Bamboo- they are made so that you can customize the fit. Since they are a flat insert you can choose when you need the bulk of the material for your baby. I am lazy, so I tri-fold, but you could easily adjust the folds. Another highlight of the insert- because it is larger flat square, it drys so much faster that multiple layered inserts. Let drying time= less $ on your energy bill.
