{Children Inspire Design- Review and Giveaway!}

I really don't know where to begin to share my excitement over this addition to the April Showers Birthday Bash, Children Inspired Design. Through email I have gotten to know Rebecca. Rebecca is one of these amazing women that has a heart so big it just fill everything that she does. Every element of her life reflects this. She is a dedicated artist, mother, wife, business owner and passionate about changing the world for the better. Rebecca firmly believes that if we teach the importance of global responsibility at a young age, carrying that responsibility into the future will be second nature for our children. I would like to share with you a video from Rebecca. This embodies a greater mission that she is cultivating. 

Rebecca has spent time traveling all over and setting up co-ops to help women and children all over the world. Take a look at these beautiful Bird Mobiles. These birds are made through a program called PEACE, a grassroots cooperative of women from semi-rural, economically disadvantaged areas in Mexico.  PEACE’s line of art and crafts are mostly created from recycled materials. Proceeds from the sale of these products provide income to help lift families from a life of poverty to prosperity and gives them the hope and freedom to fly. Children Inspire Design supports PEACE by purchasing their handcraft birds and designing them into these mobiles and ornaments.  Perfect for a nursery, a playroom or entryway, the bird collection gives rise to opportunity and hope for the community that makes them and love for the home that receives them.

Children Inspired Design creates beautiful pieces that you can enjoy in every room of your house. These piece are unique as well as passing on a deeper message or learning tool. One of my favorite CID piece in our house, centrally located for daily viewing, are the Manner Cards. Neat, clean and simple, yet a great teaching tool. Children Inspired Design makes their art available in a variety of languages as well!
