{Prefense Review and Giveaway} closed

I have been switching over to more natural product for a long time now. I have always stayed clear of hand sanitizers, mainly because of the high levels of alcohol. It wasn't till recently I heard of a new company Prefense. Prefense is simple and safe to use. I must admit that I have turned into a little bit of a germ-a-phob. Mostly due to the amazingly disgusting things my your kids will do without thinking twice, like crawling on the floor in a public restroom, licking tables at a restaurant and let us not forget picking their noses and eating it.  Now, with the thanks to Prefense I can go about my germ-a-phob ways and cover the kids in a safe, alcohol free sanitizer!
Here are a few more benefits to using Prefense:

One Application
Lasts all day!

·   No alcohol! Prefenz is made of all-natural ingredients and has absolutely NO alcohol in it!
·   Our technology protects you for 24 hours or 10 hand washings!
·   Prefenz is non-toxic and safe for kids! It will not hurt you if swallowed!
·   Prefenz is silica based which means it doesn’t dry out your hands like traditional alcohol sanitizers.  It actually smoothes and softens your hands. You can totally see this when you apply it!
·  Prefenz protects against staph, strep, E.coli, drug resistant MRSA strains, and more. We fight germs that other hand sanitizers can’t.
·  Because “one spray lasts all day” our 1.5 oz Prefenz Botanicals Hand Sanitizer offers 120 applications, costing only $.08 per day, compared to $1.20 per day with alcohol hand sanitizers.

I was very pleased with this product. The product itself is easy to use, lightly scented and leaves your skin soft. The kids have enjoyed using it just once a day! I would encourage you to use this product- the 1.5oz is great for the purse or diaper bag. You can learn more about Prefense on their website, Facebook page and Twitter

Today, I am lucky enough to be able to give one lucky reader a 8oz bottle!

13 little notes:

  1. First of all... I have a thumb sucker. So you will see him playing w/all the games at a cramped chuck e cheese and then sucking his dirty little germ infested finger! He also hates to sanitize because it 'makes his thumb taste bad'.
Second... the grosses thing I have seen my kids do:
Aidan at age 2 licked the netting that surrounds the McDonalds playland.
Ezra at age 2 licked the floor of the post office.
Oh yes - they are gross!! ;)

  2. lol Stefanie,....ok so this might be a bad mom story more than germ(y) kids. DS4, is learning to use his little chubby fingers to pick up things, specifically his thumb and pointer. The other day he was trying to pick up a nickel. As any mom would, I watched in amazement as he tired to maneuver his digits. After a couple tries he gave up, and preceded to open his mouth wide, face to the floor and become a human vacuum attempting to lap up, suck up said nickel. Yes it took a moment to subside from the laughter before I picked monster up.

  3. My babe is only 3 months old, so the only gross things he does so far is poop, but that's kind of cute. ;)

This weekend we were visiting our 15 month old nephew who was using his snot like string. It was his first cold in a long time - how "precious".
